Director of Programme Delivery at the Virgin Islands Recovery and Development Agency (RDA) Mrs. Shaina Smith-Archer presented to members of the Rotary Club of Tortola during an informative presentation on the agency’s purpose, progress, priorities, and plans for the Territory’s continued sustainable development.

Following the publication of a request for Expression of Interest and a press release on this matter, the Recovery and Development Agency (RDA) is providing further information on the Road Infrastructure Network project, aimed at enhancing road safety, accessibility, and resilience across the Territory.

The public is advised that the section of road connecting Administration Drive and Lloyd Road, in the vicinity of the Social Security Board will be closed on Thursday, December 12 from 6:00 p.m. to Midnight.

The public is advised that a portion of Lee Road, Virgin Gorda, in the vicinity of Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour gate to the South area of the Fire Station will be closed from Thursday, December 12 at 6:00 p.m. to Sunday, December 15 at 1:00 p.m

Minister for Works, Honorable Kye M. Rymer, has said that his ministry is focusing on improving the most vulnerable areas of the Territory’s road network as it continues to develop and maintain public infrastructure.  

The public is advised that the Ridge near the small look out to the Methodist Church area in Manchester will be closed on Tuesday, December 3 from 10:00 a.m. for a duration of one week, due to trenching works.
