Minister for Communications and Works Honourable Kye M. Rymer is reassuring the public that his ministry is moving forward with vital road works to enhance the Virgin Islands road infrastructure.
The public is advised that the section of Ridge Road from the intersection at Great Mountain to Fahie Hill, extending to the Climax on the Hill establishment, will be closed from Saturday, November 9, at 7:00 a.m. until Monday, November 11, at 7:00 a.m.
The public is notified that the section of Ridge Road from the intersection at Great Mountain to Fahie Hill, extending to the Climax on the Hill establishment, will be closed from Saturday, November 2, at 7:00 a.m. until Monday, November 4, at 7:00 a.m.
Following this initial closure, work will continue on Monday, November 4, for a period of two weeks, during which time only one-way access will be allowed.
Motorists are asked to adhere to traffic directions and signage or consider using alternate routes to facilitate smooth traffic flow during the repair period.
Residents of Lower Butu Mountain are advised that civil works for the construction of a retaining wall, gabion basket system, and road pavement will start on Monday, October 28.
