Minister for Communications and Works, Honourable Kye M. Rymer has said community engagement is important as the public is invited to participate in a survey on a Business Case for the expansion of the Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport.

Madame Speaker, I am pleased to provide an update on the progress of developing the Business Case for the Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport.

Members of the established steering committee for the Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport expansion project are featured as they discuss the way forward.  

The public is notified that traffic will be temporarily interrupted on Monday, February 26 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Beef Island in the vicinity of the Long Bay Beach to the Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport  then onto the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge

The Government of the Virgin Islands and the British Virgin Islands Airports Authority are monitoring progress on the long-awaited airport development and has awarded KPMG (BVI) Ltd the contract to undertake works on the project.
