The Government of the Virgin Islands is making good on its promise to support small businesses and provide them with practical tools to enhance the services they provide.
The Jost Van Dyke School is the most recent recipient of funds through the Adopt-A-School programme as the Ministry of Education and Culture continues to create a culture of excellence through partnerships with corporate and community oragnisations.
The finalists for the first Gen-Y Factor Competition have been working with their coaches, practicing their songs and are aiming to put on their best performances for the June 25 show.
Premier and Minister of Finance, Dr. the Honourable D. Orlando Smith, OBE, is confident in the strength of the Territory’s financial services industry and has reiterated the Government’s commitment to it.
The Ministry of Education and Culture will be administering the next SAT Examination tomorrow, Saturday, May 7, at the Elmore Stoutt High School – Block E at 8:00 a.m.

Further to a recent press release on the problems of British Virgin Islanders entering the US Virgin Islands (USVI) on their Territory passports, the Office of the Governor and Civil Registry and Passport Office would like to confirm that the USVI and BVI visa waiver programme remains in place, as mandated.
