The Recovery Task Force led by the Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Premier has been mobilised to lead the recovery process following the deactivation of the National Emergency Operations Centre (NEOC).
The National Emergency Operations Centre is advising the BVI community that the Acting Governor, Mrs. Rosalie Adams, in consultation with the Director of the Department of Disaster Management has deactivated the National Emergency Operations Centre (NEOC).
The British Virgin Islands will be the host country for the Caribbean Telecommunications Union’s (CTU) 13th Caribbean Internet Governance Forum (CIGF) from August 21 to 23.
The public, especially the BVI Financial Institutions that have reporting obligations to be satisfied in the year 2017 are being notified that the authority’s email and the web-based portal the BVI Financial Account Reporting System (BVIFARS) are down, as a result of the Tropical Wave that affected the Territory last week.
