The Ministry of Communications and Works has implemented a fault reporting hotline at the Water and Sewerage Department and is encouraging residents to call 468-6000 to report water leaks, broken pipes and interruptions in water supply.

The Ministry of Communications and Works mobilised trucking of water to Virgin Gorda on Saturday, February 13 as a temporary solution to the shortage of water occurring on the island.

The Ministry of Communications and Works is notifying motorists that east-bound traffic passing on Waterfront Drive will continue be diverted onto Main Street nightly from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. to facilitate sewerage works.

The sewerage treatment plant at Burt Point is now operational and producing treated effluent.

Madam Speaker, as we come to the end of this year 2015, I am pleased to report considerable progress in our Government's efforts to improve the Water and Sewerage Network in the Virgin Islands.

The Water and Sewerage Department is informing customers in the Road Town area from the Festival Grounds site to Craft Alive that their water service has been interrupted.  The interruption is due to a broken line that occurred last evening in the area of Scotia Bank that is being repaired today.

The public is notified that there will be a temporary road closure at Sea Cow's Bay on Sunday, December 6 at 7:00 a.m...... 

The Water and Sewerage Department has been investing in its workers by providing the necessary training to develop each technician’s expertise and prepare them to become certified in their respective areas.

The Ministry of Communications and Works is notifying the public that the section of road from McNamara Junction to the Prospect Reef Roundabout will be closed nightly for works on the Sewerage Force main.
