Minister for Communications and Works Honourable Kye Rymer has stated that the Cabinet of the Virgin Islands has declared the water infrastructure in the Territory a National Critical Priority.
Today, I stand before you not just as your Minister of Communications and Works and the person responsible for the distribution of water in the Territory, but as someone who truly empathises with every household and business that has faced the struggles of an unreliable water supply.
Residents of Districts Seven (7) and Eight (8) are invited to a community meeting on Thursday, June 19 at 6:00 p.m. at the Francis Lettsome Primary School.
Residents of East End, Long Look, Greenland, and Fat Hogs Bay are notified that that application forms are available for connection to the Water and Sewerage Department’s sewerage system.
The public is notified that Road Town will experience low water pressure throughout the day. The following areas will also experience water disruption until 4:00 p.m.:

Today, June 7 from 8:00 p.m. to June 8 at 6:00 a.m. Hope Hill to Balsum Ghut. Baughers Bay to Paraquita Bay, including Purcell Estate, Free Bottom, Johnson’s Ghut, and Road Town. Long Bush, Lower Estate, and Huntum’s Ghut.
June 8 from 8:00 p.m. to June 9 at 6:00 a.m. Baughers Bay to Paraquita Bay, including Purcell Estate, Free Bottom, Johnson’s Ghut, and Road Town. Long Bush, Lower Estate, and Huntum’s Ghut.
