Premier and Minister of Finance, Honourable Andrew A. Fahie is away from the Territory attending the 26^th Annual Florida Caribbean Cruise Association Conference and Trade Show in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Deputy Governor of the Virgin Islands, Mr. David Archer, Jr. has said that there must be systems in place that serve as a blueprint for the Territory’s response following a disaster, to allow for work to continue when the functions of Government are significantly affected.

Forty (40) Public Officers within the Government of the Virgin Islands were led through the basics of Budgeting, Entrepreneurship, Investment and Retirement Planning after participating in a financial management workshop.

A delegation from the Virgin Islands visited Anguilla from October 7 - 10 to assist with that Territory’s election preparation, including a mock election exercise.

Further to the Ministry  of Finance and the Department of Human Resources'  1st October 2019 notice on the implementation of the new JDE Edwards Enterprise One  this communication is to provide an update on the 15 October 2019 pay period  which was processed successfully with minimal issues.

Mr. Gregory Skelton has been appointed to act as Commissioner in the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) effective October 1.
