In keeping with the new hours of operation for the Public Service, the Cabinet Office will be open to the public from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, until further notice.

Ms. Dawn J. Smith has taken the Oath of Office and is the Territory’s new Attorney General.

The Virgin Islands will be swearing-in its second local Attorney General (AG) at a Special Sitting of the House of Assembly on October 1.

The public is notified that as a result of The Curfew Act 2017, Imposition of Curfew (No. 33) Order 2020, the hours of operation for the Public Service will resume from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. 

Ms. Dawn J. Smith has been appointed Attorney General effective October 1, 2020.

The Office of the Deputy Governor is advising relevant businesses that apostilles services may be obtained between 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. beginning Thursday, September 17.

The public is notified that effective today, September 16, the BVI Post Office will be operating from Monday to Friday,  8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to noon.

His Excellency the Governor has announced that Mr John Rankin CMG has been appointed as Governor to the British Virgin Islands, in succession to him.

As you know, I have served as Governor to the Virgin Islands for just over three years. A great deal has happened during that time, but one thing that has remained constant is my commitment to serving the people of BVI.

The Cabinet Office is informing the public that given the recent Curfew Order (No. 32), its new office hours are now 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
