National Epidemiologist Ms. Harmonie Brewley-Massiah has confirmed 44 cases of Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD) across 10 preschools and day care centres in the Territory.

The Environmental Health Division is heightening surveillance of early childhood centers across the Territory following the report of eight suspected cases of Hand Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD).
The Environmental Health Division is informing the public of a voluntary recall of approximately 5,760 cases of Capri Sun Wild Cherry Flavored Juice Drink Blend beverages by Kraft Heinz.
The Ministry of Health and Social Development is increasing its surveillance in response to the detection of Monkeypox cases in the Region and the high risk of disease introduction due to increased travel, in conjunction with the Territory’s return to pre-pandemic protocols.
