Acting Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Ronald Georges has reported that there are 151 active cases of COVID-19 in the Territory with most cases experiencing mild symptoms.

The Ministry of Health and Social Development has been made aware of information publicly circulating regarding concerns raised by the Public Health Unit.
The public is notified that the offices of the Public Health Unit is in the process of relocating to the third floor of Union Property Building, located adjacent to Happy Lion Restaurant. The process is expected to be completed by Friday, March 4. Some interruption to service can be expected for the duration of this period. For urgent inquires persons can contact the unit via telephone at 468-9986 or 468-9989.
Any inconvenience caused during this time is regretted.
National Epidemiologist Ms. Harmonie Massiah-Brewley has said that the Public Health Unit of the Ministry of Health and Social Development is on a quest to promote health, wellness and fun for the year 2022.
The BVI Health Services Authority is using local data to drive its new vaccination campaign. This campaign was launched on 27 January; and features statistics collated from the Dr. D. Orlando Smith Hospital’s Specialty Care, and Intensive Care Units.
