All Invited To Fisherman’s Day Activities

The annual fishing tournament starts at 4:00 a.m. Then from 11:00 a.m. onwards there will be several activities and events for all ages, including the fishing tournament judging, fashion show and live Vendor’s Fish Cook-off. Food and craft vendors will be present and entertainment will be provided by local DJs and local bands.

Environmental Health Hosts Workshop For Shipping Industry

The Environmental Health Division will be hosting an information sharing workshop with representatives of the shipping industry on Monday June 22, at the Peebles Hospital Training room located in the Annex Building.

Workshop For Port Health And Border Protection Personnel

The Environmental Health Division will be hosting a two session workshop for port health and border protection personnel to decide on strategies for the strengthening of port health regulations.

Participants will discuss the core capacity requirements under the International Health Regulations 2005, the roles of relevant agencies and stake holders at points of entry and strengthening collaborative efforts among agencies.
