The public is invited to the First Sitting of the First Session of the Third House of Assembly on Tuesday, June 23, at 10:00 a.m. at the Multi-purpose Sports Complex.

At the First Sitting, after an election process, a Speaker and Deputy Speaker will be elected in accordance with Sections 4 and 5 of the British Virgin Islands Standing Orders. An Oath of Allegiance will them be taken by the Speaker, Deputy Speaker and all elected Members.

Transportation will be provided for persons from Anegada, Jost Van Dyke and Virgin Gorda wishing to attend the ceremony. Tortola Fast Ferry will depart Anegada for Road Town at 7:45 a.m. and Virgin Gorda at 8:45 a.m. returning at 3:00 p.m. New Horizon Ferry will depart Jost Van Dyke for Road Town at 8:00 a.m.  Following the ceremony, all vessels will depart Road Town at 3:00 p.m.
