St. George’s Secondary School and the Virgin Islands School of Technical Studies (VISTS) are the winners in the first round of the Ministry of Education’s annual Inter-Secondary School debates.
The Ministry of Education is observing Guidance Counsellor’s Week from February 3 to 7 and is inviting the public to share how school counsellors have been instrumental in their lives or the lives of children.
The proposing St. George’s Secondary School are the winners against the opposing Cedar International School in the first of the 2025 Inter-Secondary School Preliminary debates.
Seven schools across the Territory are expected to compete in the Ministry of Education’s annual Inter-Secondary School Debates beginning 5th February.
The Ministry of Education, Youth Affairs & Sports is now accepting scholarship applications for the 2025/2026 academic year in the following Priority Areas of Study:

Persons seeking to have students placed in the public or private school system in the Virgin Islands are notified that registration for the 2025 to 2026 academic school year begins on January 2 and ends April 30.
