Premier and Minister of Finance, Honourable Andrew A. Fahie has delivered the Territory’s 2022 Budget Address under the theme: “Strategically positioning New Industries with Sustainability and Innovation: Continuing to improve the standard of living with focus on Education, Small Business, Healthcare and Technology”.

Premier and Minister of Finance, Honourable Andrew A. Fahie is away from the Virgin Islands from today attending the annual Overseas Territories (OT) Joint Ministerial Council (JMC) in the United Kingdom (UK), which will be the first JMC in-person meeting since 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Minister for Natural Resources, Labour and Immigration, Honourable Vincent Wheatley has said that the Government of the Virgin Islands will be upscaling the mangrove nursery to a mangrove bank as it seeks to benefit from and participate in the blue carbon market.
