Junior Minister for Tourism, Honourable Sharie de Castro will lead the Virgin Islands’ response to the Territory’s 2022 CARIFTA Team’s performance at a ceremony today.

Youth between the ages of 15 to 29 are invited to join a youth talk on the topic, “Covid-19: Mental Health Check” on July 30 at 6:00 p.m. 

The Department of Youth Affairs and Sports is inviting persons between the ages of 14 to 25 to register for the upcoming Caribbean Youth Empowerment Virtual Summit held from August 2 to 5 at 7:00 p.m. EST / 8 p.m. EDT nightly.

Registration continues for the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports’ Be YOUth Centre in anticipation for the opening of its first session in May.

Young persons from across the Virgin Islands will have a space to share, grow and create in a safe and innovative environment with the launch of a Be YOUth Centre on April 9.

Senior Public Officers from the Territory had the opportunity to weigh in on UNESCO’s recent Futures of Education Webinar Series and shared plans for moulding responsible global citizens in the Territory.

Six schools across the Territory are expected to compete in the Ministry of Education’s annual Inter-Secondary School Debates beginning February 3.
