El Ministro de Recursos Naturales, Trabajo e Inmigración, el Honorable Vincent Wheatley, dijo que hay una malinterpretación por personas cuando se trata de cómo funciona la exención de permiso de trabajo como estatus permanente.
Minister for Natural Resources, Labour and Immigration Honourable Vincent Wheatley has addressed what he said is persons who have been misinterpreting the work permit exemption as a permanent status.
Businesses on the Sister Islands can expect to receive more visits from officials of the Department of Labour and Workforce Development’s Labour Protection and Labour Relations Units.
The public is notified that effective February 1, persons who are out of the Territory for six months or more with expired work permits will be required to submit new applications, as their expired permits will no longer be renewable.

Las personas que tengan permisos de entrada, permisos de trabajo y exenciones de permisos de trabajo vencidos deben comunicarse con los departamentos respectivos para concertar una cita para facilitar la regularización de sus permisos.
Persons who have expired entry permits, work permits and work permit exemptions are to contact the respective departments to make an appointment to facilitate the regularising of their permits.
