The construction of the Maya Cove reservoir that stores water for distribution to the eastern part of Tortola is now complete.  

Minister for Communication and Works, Mark Vanterpool has said the 1.5 million dollars donated by the United Kingdom Government along with funds from the Government of the Virgin Islands has made it possible for the recovery of reservoirs throughout the Territory.

The public is notified that a section of the Huntum’s Ghut Road from the Tamarind Tree by the foot of Horse Path across from Dr. Adamson’s Dental toward Clippers Barber Shop will be partially closed on Wednesday, September 19 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Architects, Builders, Engineers, Draftsmen and Plumbers are invited to register for an upcoming Onsite Sewerage (septic tank and soak away) workshop. 

The Government of the Virgin Islands signed a contract for consultancy services for the National Sewerage Programme in the sum of $408,000.00.

Upgrades to the National Sewerage Infrastructure are among the plans for this year to be undertaken by the Water and Sewerage Department.
