The BVI Health Services Authority (BVIHSA) has received a new Cepheid GeneXpert machine and cartridges/tests from the United Kingdom Foreign and Commonwealth Office that will enhance the Territory’s ability to carry out COVID-19 testing.
Industry experts highlighted the importance of cash and liquidity to ensure effective business continuity in light of the impact of COVID-19 at yesterday’s BVI Finance Breakfast Forum.
The public is notified that as the BVI Health Services Authority continues to implement precautionary measures to respond to COVID-19, a number of changes have been made to community health and hospital services.
The BVI Airports Authority is advising the travelling public that as mandated by the Government of the Virgin Islands, airports in the Territory will remain operational with several restrictions, until further notice.
