The International Tax Authority (“ITA”) is pleased to notify all Registered Agents (“RAs”) of the latest release of the BOSS(ES) portal, which provides additional functionality to the ITA. For RAs requiring change(s) to previously submitted declarations, we are now able to reopen the filed declarations.

The public is notified of the British Virgin Islands Ports Authority’s (BVIPA) closure for the following port facilities today, August 21.

The BVI Health Services Authority is notifying the public that due to inclement weather, non-essential and elective services will be closed from 2:00 p.m. today until further notice.

Minister for Natural Resources, Labour and Immigration Honourable Vincent Wheatley has said that the Social Security Board is working to address the more than  7000 claims that have been submitted by residents who are unemployed or underemployed due to COVID-19.

The public is notified that the office of the BVI Health Services Authority’s Dental Unit will be closed on July 9 and 10 to facilitate repairs. 

Director of the Social Security Board, Mrs. Harriet Skelton and her supporting team observed the board’s 40^th Anniversary since its inception. Mrs. Skelton said the Social Security Board has been the best initiative made by the Government of the BVI. 

The Board of Directors of the British Virgin Islands Tourist Board & Film Commission has announced the appointment of Mr. Rhodni Skelton as the Acting Director of Tourism, effective Monday, 25th May 2020. The appointment will run until 30th June, 2020, by which time the organization aims to select a substantive candidate for the post of Director of Tourism.
