The public is notified that HIMA’s Rheumatology and Pulmonology clinics have resumed at the BVI Health Services Authority. Both clinics will be held tomorrow Friday January 24

It is disappointing that Paul Bayly is resigning as CEO of the Recovery and Development Agency (RDA). The RDA is incredibly important to BVI’s recovery and development – a top priority for us all – and I sincerely hope that the setback of BVI losing such an experienced and talented CEO does not hamper recovery efforts.

Premier and Minister of Finance, Honourable Andrew A. Fahie has stated that the future of the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College (HLSCC) is beyond imagination and that the Government of the Virgin Islands will continue to support the institution where it can.
Mr. Rhodni Skelton, Deputy Director of the British Virgin Islands Tourist Board and Film Commission (BVITB&FC), has been appointed to act as Director of Tourism during the absence of the Director of the Tourism, Mrs. Sharon Flax Brutus. Mrs. Flax Brutus is currently on vacation leave and returns to office in the latter half of February 2020.
The BVI Health Services Authority joined forces with Public Health England and hosted a two-day workshop to strengthen quality management systems related to International Health Regulations compliance.
In a drive to ready frontline personnel in the British Virgin Islands for the approaching tourism high season, the British Virgin Islands Tourist Board & Film Commission (BVITB&FC) recently concluded FCCA Customer Service Workshops facilitated by Melanie Colpitts of the Aquila Centre for Cruise Excellence Executive.

Minister for Natural Resources, Labour and Immigration, Honourable Vincent Wheatley has said that the Government of the Virgin Islands is doing its part to cultivate a culture of a greener BVI for all as the Territory prepares to observe Arbour Day on November 29.
