The BVI Health Services are the recipients of $50,000 dollars from the Rotary Club of Tortola to assist with the purchase of laboratory equipment to outfit the New Nurse Iris O’Neal Medical Centre.

The Territory is being reminded that this year marks seventy years since legislative government was restored, as it prepares to observe the 25th Anniversary of the passing of one of its greatest visionary leaders, the late Honourable Hamilton Lavity Stoutt.

It is disappointing that Paul Bayly is resigning as CEO of the Recovery and Development Agency (RDA). The RDA is incredibly important to BVI’s recovery and development – a top priority for us all – and I sincerely hope that the setback of BVI losing such an experienced and talented CEO does not hamper recovery efforts.

Premier and Minister of Finance, Honourable Andrew A. Fahie has stated that the future of the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College (HLSCC) is beyond imagination and that the Government of the Virgin Islands will continue to support the institution where it can.
