Residents of the Virgin Islands are now eligible to receive an International Student Scholarship to study Bachelor and Master Programmes from the University of Macau based in Hong Kong.
The public is invited to tune in to a premiere episode of Public Eye on Tuesday, February 22 for an update on the Virgin Islands Scholarship Programme Policy.

Mister Speaker, the Social Security Board had an Award Ceremony to congratulate the recipients of the 2021 Nursing Scholarships - Ms. Shenice McKelly and Ms. Stephanie Payne, both of whom will be attending the University of the Virgin Islands in St. Thomas, USVI.
Virgin Islanders who are interested in pursuing studies at the master’s level in areas including Risk Management are being invited to apply for scholarships from the Caribbean Catastrophe Risk Insurance Facility Segregated Portfolio Company (CCRIF SPC).
Virgin Islanders who wish to study in other countries for the 2021/2022 academic school year are invited to apply for the distinguished Virgin Islands Scholarship Abroad Programme through the Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture.

Mister Speaker, I am pleased to be able to make a statement today on the Scholarship Programme which is administered through the Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture. Despite the trying and unprecedented times the Territory is facing today, the Government of the Virgin Islands remains committed to providing the financial support necessary for its people to have access to tertiary education.
