The public is notified that a portion of Nottingham Estate, Long Look will be partially closed on Wednesday, June 30 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The public is notified that the portion of Paraquita Bay road on Tortola, in the vicinity of H. Lavity Stoutt Community College (HLSCC) Marina, will be partially closed on Saturday, June 19 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

The purpose of the closure is to facilitate the installation of water connections in the area.  Motorists are kindly asked to use alternate routes.

Acting Director of the Public Works Department, Mr. Jeremy Hodge has said that the Public Works Department (PWD) is engaged in heightened road maintenance activities in preparation for the hurricane season and to ensure continued public safety.

The public is advised to limit traversing the roads as boulders have been cited on the roadways due to the inclement weather being experienced.

Motorists and residents are notified that the placement of speed bumps will commence on Wednesday, May 19 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the following areas.

The public is notified that the portion of Fat Hogs Bay, East End, Tortola, in the vicinity of Dr. Pickering’s residence and the Bus Stop will be partially closed on Friday, May 14 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

The public is notified that the portion of Paraquita Bay Tortola, in the vicinity of H. Lavity Stoutt Community College (HLSCC) will be partially closed on Monday, May 17 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The public is notified that the section of Waterfront Drive between the Dr. D. Orlando Smith Hospital and McNamara Road will be closed on Tuesday, May 11 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The motoring public is advised that the left lane of the James Walter Francis Drive going westbound, from the roundabout at Port Purcell to the traffic lights at Pasea will be closed to vehicular traffic from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 29.

Businesses and residents from Purcell Estate to Duff’s Bottom, including Road Town are notified that the Water and Sewerage Department is working to restore the public water service.
