Residents and businesses along the Blackburn Highway from the East End Police Station on to Parham Town, the Sound, Chapel Hill and Beef Island are notified that public water service will be temporarily interrupted from today Sunday, March 6.

Motorists are advised that the Blackburn Highway Bridge in the vicinity of Alphonso’s Gas Station in East End and Parham Town entrance has been severely compromised.

The public is advised that the flow of traffic in the city of Road Town will be temporarily interrupted on Thursday, February 24 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. to facilitate the Run for Fun Cruise Run here in the BVI.
The public is notified that the portion of road in the vicinity of Prospect Reef Resort to the entrance of Dolphin Discovery in the vicinity of the round-about will be blocked on Saturday, February 19 and Sunday, February 20 from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily.

Minister for Transportation, Works and Utilities, Honourable Kye M. Rymer has said that his ministry stands firm on its vision of providing a high standard of internationally accepted public infrastructure for the Territory.
Honourable Rymer in remarks at the commissioning of the shuttles for the City of Road Town Park and Ride initiative said the project to improve and beautify the city commenced before his tenure as minister. He said Government upon taking office recognised the need to continue with the enhancement of the capital, and moved forward with the initiative.

Minister for Transportation, Works and Utilities, Honourable Kye M. Rymer is urging residents and the motoring public to traverse with caution as we are in the second day of continuous rain in the Territory.
Premier and Minister of Finance, Honourable Andrew A. Fahie and Minister for Transportation, Works and Utilities, Honourable Kye M. Rymer, other members of the House of Assembly and officials from the Ministry of Transportation, Works and Utilities hosted a community meeting on Sunday, January 30 at the West End Communinty Centre.
