The Government’s physical re-opening today included the launch of its Customer Service Care Centre.

The public is advised that effective immediately, appointments are to be made when conducting business with the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).  

Customers are advised that there will be no face-to-face contact when addressing queries.

The Water and Sewerage Department advises that services resume at its offices on both Virgin Gorda and Tortola effective Monday, May 4 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

A contract to begin reconstructing the Flax Administration Building on Virgin Gorda was signed on May 1.

The Sister Islands Co-ordination Unit within the Office of the Deputy Governor has secured two vehicles for use on Anegada and Jost Van Dyke to carry out the work of the Government.

The public is advised that effective Monday, May 4, appointments must be made prior to doing business at the Premier’s Office. 

Deputy Governor of the Virgin Islands, Mr. David D. Archer, Jr. has announced through a Circular released to Public Officers that the Public Service will physically open on Monday, May 4.

Several Public Officers have undergone training to ensure that businesses adhere to COVID-19 preventative measures as the Territory prepares to reopen following the curfew period.
