Minister for Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Culture, Dr. the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley, said the late Honourable H. Lavity Stoutt was a great leader who was focused on the development of the people of the Virgin Islands.

Wednesday, December 11 has been designated as a public holiday in the Virgin Islands in observance of the State Funeral and burial for the late Honourable Ralph T. O’Neal, OBE Member Emeritus.

Did you know that Friday, June 7 is a public holiday in the Virgin Islands? Yes it is and all roads will be leading to the Festival Grounds on Wickham’s Cay I at 4:30 p.m. for the annual birthday celebration for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
The public is reminded that all premises, not including hotels and clubs, in which intoxicating liquor is sold, exposed or kept for sale by retail shall be closed on Good Friday, observed on Friday, April 19.
