Twenty Virgin Islands residents are the newest registered British Citizens after they received certificates and recited the Affirmation of Allegiance and Pledge of Loyalty during a ceremony at Government House Thursday morning.

Twenty-seven persons are now the newest group of British Overseas Territories Citizens (BOTC) of the Virgin Islands after taking the oath to complete the process during a naturalisation ceremony.

 Twenty four persons recited the Oath of Allegiance and  Pledge of Loyalty last week to complete the process of becoming British Overseas Territories Citizens (BOTC) of the Virgin Islands.

The public is advised that the Civil Registry and Passport Office will be closed on Friday, April 23, to facilitate a training workshop.

Twenty-six new British Overseas Territories Citizens (BOTC) received Certificates of Naturalisation during a ceremony today.

Seventy-four individuals received their Certificates of Naturalisation through a series of socially distanced ceremonies on May 26 and 27.

The Civil Registry and Passport Office is notifying the public of its operating hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. by appointment only effective immediately. 

The Civil Registry and Passport Office is now open for business and offering services online and by appointment.
