Acting Director for the National Parks Trust, Ms. Lynda Varlack is sending out a special appeal to members of the community to refrain from removing plants from the national parks, including the Queen Elizabeth II Park.

Members of the community were on the move at yesterday's opening ceremony of the Queen Elizabeth II Park (QEII Park) and children's playground.

It gives me great pleasure to extend congratulations to the Premier and the Government on the occasion of the Official Opening of the New Queen Elizabeth II Park and Children’s Playground in this special year of Her Majesty’s 90th Birthday.

The Government of the Virgin Islands is preparing for the opening ceremony of the Queen Elizabeth II Park and newly renovated children’s playground on Tuesday, May 31 at 5:00 p.m.

The public is invited to the grand opening of the Queen Elizabeth II Park and the renovated children’s playground on Tuesday, May 31 at 5:00 p.m. 

Preparations are underway for the grand opening of the Queen Elizabeth II Park and the renovated children’s playground.

The National Parks Trust of the Virgin Islands is informing the public that free trees will be distributed in celebration of Arbour Day.   

The Government of the Virgin Islands is advising the public that the children’s playground at the Queen Elizabeth II Park is a construction site. 

The National Parks Trust of the Virgin Islands (NPT) is inviting persons to its annual Arbour Day ceremony on Friday, December 4.
