The public is informed that the Premier’s Office, located on the First Floor of Cutlass Tower in Road Town, has resumed regular operations today August 13.
The Government of The Virgin Islands in an effort to improve its ability to sustainable manage the marine and terrestrial environment through bridging the gaps of environmental information has secured funding from the Resilience, Sustainable Energy and Marine Biodiversity Programme (RESEMBID) for a project titled “Strengthening The Virgin Islands’ Water Quality Monitoring Programme to Inform Effective Environmental Management and Spatial Planning.”
Premier of the Virgin Islands, Honourable Dr. Natalio D. Wheatley will be attending the upcoming Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Heads of Government meeting, scheduled to be convened in St. George’s, Grenada, from July 28 to 30, 2024.
The Office of the Deputy Governor wishes to advise owners of businesses who did not attend the June 3 Temporary Liquor Licence sitting at the Magistrate’s Court, that applications for a Temporary Liquor Licence must now be submitted to the Office of the Deputy Governor.

Dr. Connie George has been officially appointed as the first Director of the Virgin Islands Public Service Learning Institute, effective June 18, 2024.
Before I open the floor up to questions, I want to say a few words about the Asia Pacific mission we have just completed, along with our eleven private sector sponsors, our regulators and of course friends and colleagues based in the region. I want to especially thank our private sector who funded themselves to participate in the Mission and sponsored the events.
