Statement By Honourable Sharie B. de Castro - Powerschool Student Information System

Madam Speaker, PowerSchool is the Student Information System used by the Ministry of Education, Youth Affairs and Sports to digitize and store students’ data. PowerSchool is an internet-based student information system that is used in our public schools.  It functions either independently or with other computer applications to provide educators with robust tools for viewing, storing, and retrieving students’ data.

Officials from the Ministry of Education’s Accounts Unit and the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Unit will be visiting Virgin Gorda on Wednesday September 7 to Friday September 9 to collect all Chromebook and laptop loaners for the 2021-2022 school year from all public schools including Robinson O'Neal, Bregado Flax Primary and Bregado Flax Secondary.
