Government continues to track Tropical Storm Fiona, and to take steps to prepare and protect the public services and assets we all rely on.

We have had a mostly quiet night and morning as Tropical Storm Fiona has continued to move west. Please be advised that the Virgin Islands remains on Tropical Storm Warning, with tropical storm conditions potentially arriving this afternoon and continuing into tomorrow.

A pleasant Good Day to all Virgin Islanders, residents and visitors. Like many of you, I have been closely paying attention to how Tropical Storm Fiona has developed in recent days.

Tropical Storm Fiona has continued to move west, and the Virgin Islands is now on Tropical Storm Warning.

The Department of Waste Management (DWM) wishes to inform the public of adjusted operations due to Tropical Storm Fiona.

The British Virgin Islands Ports Authority (BVIPA) would like to notify the public of the following port facility closures occurring tomorrow, Saturday, 17^th September 2022.

Tropical Storm Fiona has formed, and as of this afternoon, the Virgin Islands along with several of our regional neighbours are under Tropical Storm Watch.

The Department of Disaster Management (DDM) encourages all Virgin Islands residents to view and become familiar with the 2022 Land Based Emergency Shelter List.
