The public is advised that remedial works will commence on the Old Administration Building on Main Street on Monday, August 12. These works will continue until October 31.        Motorists and pedestrians are asked to exercise caution when traversing the area.

Motorists and residents are notified that work will now commence on Monday, January 8 on the roadway in the Horsepath Dip Reconstruction project. 

Following their productive discussion in Road Town in June, the recent high-level meeting between the Virgin Islands Minister of Communications and Works and the FCDO Director General on 14th September 2023 confirmed the support of the United Kingdom for the Virgin Islands in their pursuit of investment for crucial infrastructural projects. The Government of the Virgin Islands is inviting tenders for the construction of 3,813 linear feet of concrete road way including the construction of sidewalks, drainage systems and retaining wall structures commencing at Hodge’s Creek to Paraquita Bay, Tortola, British Virgin Islands.

The public is notified that the portion of road from the bottom of Joe’s Hill on Main Street to Brewley’s Superette, Lower Estate will have slowed traffic from Wednesday, April 27 to Friday, July 1, Monday to Friday from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. daily.
