The Government of the Virgin Islands is seeking bids from local contractors for the construction of a greenhouse foundation, shade house and rainwater harvesting systems in Paraquita Bay, Tortola.

The contract will form part of the “Integrated Landscape Approaches and Investments in Sustainable Land Management” project through the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) with funding from the European Union Global Public Goods and Challenges Programme.

As part of this project, the Government of the Virgin Islands is receiving funding support for sustainable land management interventions at Paraquita Bay.

A clarification meeting will be held to support contractors with submissions on Thursday, January 16 at 10:00 am at the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries’ Conference Room at Paraquita Bay.

The meeting will include discussions on the components of the contract, an outline of the required European Union (EU) procurement procedures for bidding presented in the tender dossier and a site visit.

Contractors are invited to visit the OECS website https://oecs.int/en/tenders-ilm-works to download and view the tender dossier.
