The BVI Electricity Corporation (BVIEC) is informing its valued customers that on Saturday, May 6 at approximately 10:17 a.m. a fault occurred at the Henry Wilfred Smith Power Station which resulted in a total system shutdown.

I am very pleased to hold this press conference, which is the first by the new Government Administration that I lead.
