The Government of the British Virgin Islands has officially launched its BVI Forward campaign, a far-reaching set of initiatives aimed at further strengthening the financial services sector and building greater awareness about the benefits derived from it.
The British Virgin Islands in collaborations with the Caribbean Telecommunications Unions (CTU)will be hosting a regional conference on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) Week in the Territory commencing September 28.
Architects preparing building plans for food handling establishments and food processing plants are urged to present detailed drawings and specifications on plumbing and liquid waste disposal when submitting plans for approval.

Premier and Minister of Finance, Dr. the Honourable D. Orlando Smith, OBE, will be travelling to Hong Kong from September 19 to attend the Business BVI Second Annual Asia Conference.
The BVI Airports Authority (BVIAA) will be conducting its biennial emergency simulation exercise at the Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport between mid-September and October 2015.

Officials from the Civil Registry and Passport Office were able to view the process of the Centralisation of the British Overseas Territory Passport at work in the United Kingdom when they visited from September 7 to 11, 2015.

Parents, school vendors and the community are encouraged to be fully engaged in the Healthy Lifestyle School Intervention Programme to ensure its success.
Training began for fifty apprentices on Monday, September 14, in the Ministry of Education and Culture’s Apprenticeship Programme. The second cohort of apprentices will be trained in a week-long workshop at the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports under the theme: “Developing Value for Job Opportunity.”
