Five presidents from the Rotary and Rotaract Clubs signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Government of the British Virgin Islandssolidifyingthe working relationship that currently exists between the Department of Disaster Management (DDM) and the Rotary family in the BVI.

His Lordship the Honourable Mr. Justice Paul Webster QC has been appointed by the Judicial and Legal Services Commission to act as Justice of Appeal of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court for a period of three years effective September 1, 2015. 

A workshop to build on the general principles of procurement, and inventory control in the medicine supply chain management in the Virgin Islands will be held next week. 

Local Attorney at law, Ms. Fiona Forbes, has been appointed to the post of Chairman of the Police Service Commission, while, Barrister and former law enforcement officer, Mr. Kendell Mills, was appointed a member of the Police Service Commission effective August 6.

This year’s event is scheduled from September 7 to September 11, and again from September 21 to September 25. It will be followed by an awards ceremony for participants on Sunday, September 27, to be held under the patronage of Premier and Minister of Finance, Dr. the Honourable D. Orlando Smith, OBE.
