Forecasters at the Colorado State University Tropical Meteorology Project are warning that the region will likely see above average levels of storm activity during the 2024 Atlantic Hurricane Season, which begins June 1.
The latest update from the International Tax Authority regarding the Rules on Economic Substance (v4) as of 2 April 2024, has been released.
This particular update focuses on Rule 5, and notably excludes the United Arab Emirates from the list of jurisdictions without a corporate income tax system.

The Government of the Virgin Islands (GoVI) has successfully maintained its ‘high creditworthiness’ issuer ratings of CariAA- (Foreign and Local Currency) on the Caribbean Information and Credit Rating Services Limited (CariCRIS) regional scale. CariCRIS has also assigned a stable outlook on the ratings.
The Government of the Virgin Islands, through the Ministry of Communications and Works is enhancing the road infrastructure in Cane Garden Bay to address existing issues and elevate the quality of transportation in the area.
