The Government of the Virgin Islands is seeking qualified applicants to fill the position of Director of Human Resources.

The successful applicant will be tasked with ensuring the effective implementation and continuous updating of Human Resources related policies, guidelines, and enactments while aligning them with legislative requirements and best practices.

Additionally, as the Director of Human Resources, the successful applicant will manage the department’s and other affiliated budgets, execute the directives of the Governor regarding all human resources matters and ensure compliance across the service.

The director will work with Permanent Secretaries and Heads of Departments to monitor, assess and evaluate the performance of officers and employees under their supervision and ensure alignment with organisational goals.

Applicants should hold a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration/Management or a related field. A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in a senior management or Human Resources Management is required. Additionally, a certification in Human Resources Management is also preferred.

The base remuneration for the role of Director of Human Resources is One Hundred and Four Thousand, Seven Hundred and Seventy Seven dollars ($104,727), plus applicable allowances for local and external candidate.
