Members of the British Virgin Islands Ports Authority (BVIPA) held a community meeting on Anegada on Friday, 1^st April 2022.

The recent enhancement to the eastern entrance/exit at the Festival Grounds has resulted in an improved passage way, as part of the phased approach in making a pedestrian friendly City of Road Town.

The Government of the Virgin Islands through the Ministry of Health and Social Development has signed a contract with E & K Trucking and Construction Services in the amount of $202,939.79 for the construction of a new social home in Purcell Estate as part of the Housing Recovery Assistance Programme. 

The two-member team from the Economics For The Environment Consultancy Limited (EFTEC) Mr. Jake Kuyer and Ms. Sophie Neupauer are featured on their tour around Tortola with Marine Biologist Mr. Mervin Hastings on Monday, February 21. 

Premier and Minister of Finance, Honourable Andrew A. Fahie and Minister for Transportation, Works and Utilities, Honourable Kye M. Rymer, other members of the House of Assembly and officials from the Ministry of Transportation, Works and Utilities hosted a community meeting on Sunday, January 30 at the West End Communinty Centre.

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture is the recipient of promethean active panel boards courtesy Unite BVI, a not for profit foundation whose motto is to be engaged in community areas where they can make the most difference.  

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture was presented with playground equipment including swings and slides to be used at the Long Bush park.

On 22nd December, 2021, Premier and Minister of Finance Honourable Andrew A. Fahie successfully piloted the Integrity in Public Life Bill through the House of Assembly.
