The two-member team from the Economics For The Environment Consultancy Limited (EFTEC) Mr. Jake Kuyer and Ms. Sophie Neupauer are featured on their tour around Tortola with Marine Biologist Mr. Mervin Hastings on Monday, February 21. The team viewed key environmental sites, witnessed the natural settings and local culture which they have been observing for the past couple years in support of the development the Virgin Islands first national Ecosystem Account. The team will conduct ecosystem accounting workshops with local technocrats, culminating with the official handover of the 2020 Ecosystem Accounts on Friday, February 25.
