The Ministry of Health and Social Development, along with the BVI Health Services Authority (BVIHSA), held a public meeting on Virgin Gorda to discuss and address key healthcare concerns of residents.

Due to severe flooding and erosion, the roadway between North Sound and Valley on the island of Virgin Gorda is currently in a hazardous condition.  The public and motorists are advised to avoid this area until further notice.

The public is notified that Lee Road from Buck’s Food Market to the Rupert Vanterpool Sr. Festival Village at the Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour Boat Yard will be temporarily closed on Monday, April 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. 

The public is advised that the Magistracy’s office on Virgin Gorda will be closed Friday, December 8 at noon.

The public is notified that a portion of Lee Road, Virgin Gorda, in the vicinity of the Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour gate to the south area of the Fire Station will be temporarily closed from Thursday, December 7 at 6:00 p.m. to Sunday, December 10 at 1:00 a.m.

The public is advised that the Magistracy on Virgin Gorda reopened today, Monday, November 28, following a brief closure on Friday, November 24.
