The British Virgin Islands Ports Authority (BVIPA) Management Team participated in a Leadership Retreat and Planning Day on Friday, 3rd February 2023 at Wyndham Lambert Beach Resort. The theme of the retreat was “Rebuilding and Restoring a Port for the Future”.
Ms. Amy Ridgeway and Dr Eleonora Manca of the Joint Nature Conservation Committee (JNCC) are featured with participants at day one of a two-day Marine habitat sensitivity and assessment workshop on Wednesday, February 1.

The successful completion of training sessions for fisher folk and other key fisheries stakeholders has resulted in the official handover of a central fisheries database to the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries.

Over 70 government and statutory body representatives were trained as the Virgin Islands prepares to undergo its Fourth Round Caribbean Financial Action Task Force (CFATF) Mutual Evaluation in 2023.
27 graduates of the Employability Skills Training Programme have received their certificates after successfully completing all eight modules of the two-part programme launched in August last year.
