The Government of the Virgin Islands is hosting a series of public meetings on two proposed Trade Legislation: Business Licencing Act, 2020 and Virgin Islands Investment Act, 2020.

Virgin Gorda business owners are invited to a public meeting today, March 18 at the Village Café at 6:00 p.m. to discuss matters concerning their community.

The public is invited to Public Consultation meetings on the proposed pieces of Trade Legislation: Business Licencing Act, 2020 and the Virgin Islands Investment Act, 2020.

The public is invited to tune in to a live Question and Answer session on the Virgin Islands Trade Commission and proposed Trade Legislation on Thursday, March 18 at 2:30 p.m.

The public is invited to review the proposed Trade Legislations before the final readings in the House of Assembly.

The public is notified that the Department of Trade, Investment Promotion and Consumer Affairs located in the Sebastian’s Building, Road Town, Tortola is closed as of 12:00 noon today, March 9.

Today it gives me great pleasure to stand here before you at this official launch of the Virgin Islands Trade Commission, which will be a statutory agency established under the Virgin Islands Trade Commission Act, 2020.
