The public is notified that the video news release on the Lee Road Update is now available on the YouTube channel

The public is notified that road works for the Harrigan Estate rehabilitation project will commence on Tuesday, April 18. The project extends from the top of Fort Charlotte to the Sea Cows Bay Methodist Church which is identified as the Bound Tree Road.

Rehabilitation works on the Greenland road are substantially complete.

The public is informed that there will be an interruption in traffic flow on the Norman Fowler Drive between the intersection at Scotiabank and the intersection on Administration Drive near Banco Popular on April 4 from 5:30 p.m. to April 5 at 4:30 p.m.

The residents of Spring Ghut are notified that road works are continuing in that area and the road will be partially closed.

Residents of Greenland are notified that rehabilitation works will continue on the road for 15 days from March 20 to April 3.

The Government of the Virgin Islands signed its thirteenth Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) Loan funded road contract today March 7. 

Today marks another significant milestone as the Government of the Virgin Islands forges ahead with the project to rehabilitate the roads damaged during Tropical Storm Otto in 2010.

The Virgin Gorda community is notified that a portion of Lee Road and the Virgin Gorda ferry terminal parking lot will be closed on Saturday, March 4 from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Motorists and users of the Territory’s roads are urged to exercise caution as the Government of the Virgin Islands continues with its road works and sewerage line upgrades.
