The public is notified that the portion of Lee Road, from the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College Virgin Gorda branch to the Virgin Gorda Recreation Grounds will be closed on Monday, April 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. to facilitate the Easter Monday Parade.  

The public is notified that the portion of Long Look Road in the vicinity of the Stickett will be closed on Tuesday, April 4 from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

The public is notified that the portion of Paraquita Bay Road in the vicinity of the Alphonso property is blocked and will remain so until Friday, March 31 to facilitate road improvements. 

The Government of the Virgin Islands’ highly anticipated asphalt plant is now on schedule to be commissioned by the end of the second quarter of 2023.

The public is notified that the Department of Waste Management is conducting routine roadside bush cutting in the Hope Hill, East End and Ridge Road areas.

The public is advised that the portion of Main Street Road from the Mid-Town Restaurant to the Commercial Court will be closed on Tuesday, March 21 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to facilitate drainage improvement works.

The public is notified that the portion of Long Look Road in the vicinity of the Long Look Stickett will be closed on Saturday, February 18 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to facilitate activities scheduled at the Stickett.  

Madam Speaker, maintaining our roads requires us to have a supply of materials whenever repairs become necessary or when upgrades are scheduled. Access to materials have been an ongoing challenge over the years and contributes to why repairs are delayed from time to time. 

The public is advised that a portion of Drakes Highway in the vicinity of the reclaimed land in Pockwood Pond and GroundWorks will be closed on Thursday, February 2 and Friday, February 3 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily to facilitate a waterline extension project.

The public is advised that a portion of Main Street in the vicinity of the Road Town Seventh Day Adventist Church will be closed on Tuesday, January 31 from 8:00 a.m. to noon.
