Today marks five years since this Territory faced the devastating impact of Hurricane Irma.

Mrs. Monel Nickie has been appointed to the post of District Officer for Virgin Gorda, making her the first woman to fill the role.

Deputy Premier and Minister for Communication and Works, Honourable Kye Rymer has said that the newly constructed Post Office at Cane Garden Bay is a state of the art facility that was fully funded by the Government of the Virgin Islands.

The Unity Government of the Virgin Islands has amended the Audit Act 2003 and the Service Commission Regulations which now makes the obstruction of audit functions a criminal offence.

In enhancing the guest welcome experience, the Immigration Department has launched Automated Passport Control (APC) kiosks to expedite entry for returning VI citizens holding British Virgin Islands or United Kingdom passports to the Territory.
