The Environmental Health Division is announcing the resumption of food handlers’ clinics for Anegada with the first clinic being held tomorrow, November 22.
Owners and managers of public establishments and the public are reminded that smoking in public places is unlawful as regulated by the Tobacco Products Control Regulations, 2007.

A team of inspectors from the Environmental Health Division will be visiting the Island of Anegada tomorrow November 15 to conduct an assessment of all food premises on the island in preparation for Lobster Fest 2017.
The Family Health Unit of the Ministry of Health and Social Development continues to offer free condoms and HIV testing at their new location on the second floor of the old Peeble’s Hospital.

Residents of the Virgin Islands, there is a well-known saying that ‘tough times don’t last, tough people do’. When I reflect on this saying, I can’t help but think on the current status of our islands and the resilience of the people who are working endlessly day and night to build back our Territory. In this regard, I would like to take this time to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our partners, local, regional and international alike, for their on-going efforts towards recovery post hurricanes Irma and Maria.

The British Virgin Islands (BVI) and European Union (EU) have discussed the EU’s support for the Territory in the aftermath of Hurricanes Irma and Maria in the margins of the Annual World Bank/IMF meetings in Washington, DC.
