A team of inspectors from the Environmental Health Division will be visiting the Island of Anegada tomorrow November 15 to conduct an assessment of all food premises on the island in preparation for Lobster Fest 2017.

“As part of this visit a number of things will be happening.  We will be conducting premises inspections of participating Lobster Fest establishments, reviewing Liquor Licence Applications, replacing food handlers cards and distributing Aqua Tablets,” said Environmental Health Officer, Candaicy David.

 “Owners and operators of food and bar establishments who are applying for or renewing liquor licenses should have a copy of their application along with a copy of their 2017 Trade Licence received from Inland Revenue Department”, Ms. David said.

Ms. David further stated that, “We will also be replacing food handler’s cards once we can verify that cards were valid pre-hurricane.”

Persons are reminded that they are still required to satisfy the pre-requisites before lost or damaged certificates can be replaced.

 Persons are also reminded to bring a passport size photograph, their social security card, work permit and or picture identification to have their card replaced.
