The public is advised that the special sitting of the Magistrate’s Court on Friday, 1^st June at 10:00 a.m. for the purpose of hearing and determining applications for liquor licences, will be held at the House of Assembly chambers.

Business persons who are seeking liquor licences for bars, and restaurants with bars are asked to submit applications early with the necessary requirements fulfilled ahead of the June deadline. 

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) on the sister islands will now benefit from scheduled trade inspections.

The licensing magistrate will hold a special sitting of the Magistrate’s Court on June 1 for the purpose of hearing and determining applications for licences for the sale of intoxicating liquor.

The public is informed that the Department of Motor Vehicles in Virgin Gorda is open today Monday, April 23 at its new location in the Vanterpool Administration Building.

February 26, 2018 is the new deadline for the submission of public feedback on the Liquor Licence Act, 2018.

The public’s feedback is being solicited on the draft Liquor Licence Act, 2018 which seeks to modernise the existing legislation.

The public is notified that the Department of Motor Vehicles now has licence plates for purchase.

Commissioner for the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), Mr. Kye Rymer, has said that his department is serving its customers although faced with challenges created by Hurricanes Irma and Maria.

Owners and operators of bars and food establishments on Virgin Gorda who are applying for or renewing liquor licences should submit a copy of their applications to the Environmental Health Division  by no later than November 17.
