On behalf of the Government of the Virgin Islands and on my own behalf and that of my family, I join with the Territory in expressing condolences to the family and loved ones of former Member of the House of Assembly, Mr. Vernon E. Malone, on his passing.

On Friday, 8^th March, the Grade 5 students of the Ebenezer Thomas Primary School had the unique opportunity to participate in a Special Sitting of the House of Assembly.

I am thrilled that the decision was taken to begin our series of Agriculture Exhibitions on Virgin Gorda. It is yet another opportunity for Virgin Gorda to lead, as you have from time to time over the years, in various areas such as tourism, music and bee keeping (apiculture), to name a few.

Premier of the Virgin Islands Honourable Dr. Natalio D. Wheatley said that he is pleased to announce that the British Virgin Islands (BVI) has been officially removed from the French blacklist of non-cooperative tax jurisdictions.

Madame Speaker, I am pleased to provide an update on the progress of developing the Business Case for the Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport.

Madam Speaker, it is with a profound sense of pride that I announce to this honourable house the declaration of March as Education Month in the territory. 

Madam Speaker, the Ministry of Education, Youth Affairs and Sports has initiated the revision of the National Youth Policy.
