Madam Speaker, I rise to inform this Honourable House of my upcoming participation in the 30th Annual Florida Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) Cruise Conference and Tradeshow, which will be held on the 22^nd – 25^th October 2024 in St. Maarten.

Madam Speaker, my final statement to this Honorable House is on the significant advancement in our digital transformation efforts to enhance public service delivery and improve access to essential utilities through innovation and technology.

Premier and Minister of Finance the Honourable Dr. Natalio D. Wheatley, has announced the successful passage of the final Statutory Bodies legislation, marking a pivotal milestone in the Territory’s governance reform initiative.

Cabinet has approved the Public Service Management Bill, which has received its first reading in the House of Assembly on August 16, 2024.

A bill to amend the Service Commissions Act (No. 8 of 2011) had its First Reading in the House of Assembly on Friday, July 26.

The official funeral of former legislator, Mr. Vernon Malone, will be held on Saturday, June 22 at the Multi-purpose Sports Complex.
